SPLM-DC Egypt chapter salute wholeheartedly our Chairman Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin for this bold and wise decision to join the new nation building journey. His presence in Juba at this time of many challenges to our newly born nation as well as to our party was indeed a blessing and providentially organized.
It is the moment that all South Sudanese should work for the unity and prosperity of our nation as Dr. Lam Akol mentioned in his message sent to the people of South Sudan calling for unity; "We should push together as South Sudanese and be united for a common objective of building the new state in a democratic, political, religious and cultural diversity". We the members of SPLM- DC in Egypt will play our part in pushing forward with the program of building South Sudan and act as a mirror for correcting mistakes for the government since the opposition and the ruling party are complementary, as Dr. Akol emphasized that "We are joined together by the new country, only the way of serving people is being seen differently from each other". We greatly thanks the wise Decision and leadership of H.E. Silver Kirr Mayardit, the president of the Republic of South Sudan for his endless calling for people of south Sudan in general and for Dr. Akol in particular to joint in the building of our beloved nation. Long live Republic of South Sudan - long live SPLM-DC.
