Damascus, (SANA) - Vice President Farouk al-Shara discussed on Tuesday with Leader of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM)-Democratic Change Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin political developments on the Arab arena and the situation in Sudan, Darfur and the Horn of Africa.
Talks dealt with current challenges facing Arab causes and rights and the importance of bolstering Arab and African solidarity in face of plots against the rights of Arab and African peoples.
For his part, Dr. Lam Akol praised Syria's stances under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad regarding Arab and African causes and rights.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Information Dr. Mohsen Bilal and the Sudanese Ambassador in Damascus.
