With less than six months “164 days” remaining from a landmark event: the referendum on whether Southern Sudan will remain part of a united Sudan or secede, many have acknowledged including some leaders in the North that Southerners are likely to vote to secede and have their own new state in Africa since Eritrea. However, managing this peaceful divorce as it has been described by many leaders in Sudan requires commitment from both two parties, NCP and SPLM. Without a change in the dynamic between the two parties, they are unlikely to be willing or able to confront the key issues between them.

Dr Peter Adwok Nyaba's response to my response to him left a lot to be desired. "Soliloquy" is the wrong word to use, as I am addressing an open forum and not talking to myself, I think Dr Adwok is still ensnared by those days of the late Adieng Papiti who, in 1964, first publicized the use of the word among Collo students.

Do'nt forget, tomorrow will be the first day of our fasting as we put it in our prayers invitation for Collo people on July 31.

To put it in its lightest form, I must say that it has been the most weird news to hear this Sunday, 25th July 2010, when the Miraya FM news reporter read out the piece that, "the Chairman of the Sudan African National Union (SANU), Toby Madut Parek, has urged Southern Sudanese to vote for unity in the 2011 referendum process".

I tell you, the man is full of hate and uses the language of business to attract the attention of his masters in the SPLM and possibly to obtain some financial reward for the work well done.
